Learn the basics of macrame with Creativebug artist Emily Katz and STEAM Librarian Jane Fleming.

In order to make sure that as many people as possible enjoy the programs in our Makerspace, we are setting a limit of one program per month per registrant for Makerspace programs.
In this program, you will learn some basic macrame techniques. You will first learn how to make a macrame feather with STEAM Librarian Jane Fleming. You will then learn how to use the Bird's Eye Tassel knot to make a macrame key chain with Creativebug artist Emily Katz.
Creativebug is a database available to Portage District Library patrons. All you need is your library card to access thousands of ideas for items to make. Visit the Creativebug database on the library website and enter your library card information to access the classes: Creativebug Classes
