Photographer Sarah McEvers will guide patrons on the basics of making their photos pop.
Registration Required.
In order to make sure that as many people as possible enjoy the programs in our Makerspace, we are setting a limit of one program per month per registrant for Makerspace programs.
Have you ever wondered how to make your photos more interesting? Do you want to learn how to take better photos? Then this class is for you!
We will go over camera composition rules and how to “see” and capture them in the real world. The class will start with an introduction to these rules. We will then break out individually or in small groups and take our cameras out into nature to practice what we have learned. Toward the end of class, you will have the opportunity to share your work (or not) with the class. No fancy gear required!
Equipment: Smartphone, point-and-shoot, or DLSR camera.
Sarah (McEvers) Mowinski was born and raised in Portage, MI. Her interest in photography started with landscape and nature photography when she was just 14 years old. Sarah learned how to develop her own film and how to shoot in manual mode in high school. After college, she switched gears to portraiture and started specializing in newborn and family photography. She enjoys building unique sets in the studio and bringing her vision to life in post-processing.
