Join Guest Artist Cynthia Kennedy as she shows you how to make beautiful beaded bracelets.

In order to make sure that as many people as possible enjoy the programs in our Makerspace, we are setting a limit of one program per month per registrant for Makerspace programs.
This class is for anyone who loves beads or loves to be creative. Dig through thousands of beads to find the right ones ones for you. Then lay out your beads on a design tray and have help from Cynthia to create your unique bracelet.
Cynthia Kennedy designs jewelry and hair accessories, which have sold all over the country. She started her jewelry company, Kennedy Creations, in 1999 (with her twin sister) with the launch of their hair accessory line “ Twin-kle Gems”.
Cynthia is also a mixed media/collage artist with a love for vibrant colors, flowers and butterflies. She started painting in 2020 and studied for a year with an internationally acclaimed, New York lifestyle designer and artist. Miss Kennedy was extremely honored to have won 3rd place in the 2024 Carnegie Center for the Arts Regional Juried Arts Competition for her painting titled “Chaos Gardens”. Her artwork has been on exhibit at the Portage City Hall and also the Portage City Library.
In 2021, Cynthia returned to Michigan after living most of her adult life in Los Angeles. She resides in Portage with her family close by in Three Rivers.
