STEM Librarian Jane Fleming will share how to use Tinkercad to create a design for a fidget.
Registration Required
In order to make sure that as many people as possible enjoy the programs in our Makerspace, we are setting a limit of one program per month. This is for Makerspace programs with registration only.
Tinkercad is an easy 3D design program that is accessible to all and easy to learn. In this program, learn how to use Tinkercad to create your own fidget. Choose your shape and color and make your own design.
Finished designs will be downloaded and added to the print queue to be printed after the program. You will be contacted when your fidget is printed.
Learn more about the 3D printers we have at the library here: https://www.portagelibrary.info/creation-station/3d-printing/
Attendee slots are limited due to space and equipment limitations. If you register and are unable to attend, please cancel your registration as soon as possible to allow other patrons a chance to sign up. Please do not sign up for duplicate programs. If you do sign up for duplicate programs, you will be contacted and asked to choose one.
If registration fills up and you are not able to attend one of these sessions, the Makerspace has Staffed Hours every day where a trained Makerspace staff person can help you with projects such as this one or other projects you might have. Please visit our website for our Staffed Hours. https://www.portagelibrary.info/creation-station/
Accommodations: All participants are welcome. If you anticipate needing any type of accommodation or have questions about the physical access provided, please contact Jane Fleming at jfleming@portagelibrary.info in advance of your visit.
