STEM Librarian Jane Fleming will teach participants how to engrave on a wooden key chain.
Registration Required
Choose your text and image and learn how to make an individualized key chain using the laser engraver at the library for yourself or for someone else. Participants will be asked to submit images ahead of time or they can also use images available in the Makerspace.
This program will be offered three times during the month of February:
Monday, February 3 at 10:30 a.m.
Tuesday, February 11 at 6:30 p.m.
Thursday, February 13 at 2:30 p.m.
In order to make sure that as many people as possible enjoy the programs in our Makerspace, we are setting a limit of one program per month per registrant for Makerspace programs.
Learn more about our laser engraver on our website: https://www.portagelibrary.info/creation-station/laser-engraving-and-cutting/
Attendee slots are limited due to space and equipment limitations. If you register and are unable to attend, please cancel your registration as soon as possible to allow other patrons a chance to sign up. Please do not sign up for duplicate programs. If you do sign up for duplicate programs, you will be contacted and asked to choose one.
If registration fills up and you are not able to attend one of these sessions, the Makerspace has Staffed Hours almost every day where a trained Makerspace staff person can help you with projects such as this one or other projects you might have. Please visit our website for our Staffed Hours. https://www.portagelibrary.info/creation-station/
All participants are welcome. If you anticipate needing any type of accommodation or have questions about the physical access provided, please contact Jane Fleming at jfleming@portagelibrary.info in advance of your visit.
