Join CAGK for an immersive cultural experience through a special workshop blending two iconic Chinese practices: the art of the tea ceremony and the movement of Tai Chi.
The Chinese American Association of Greater Kalamazoo will be presenting this special workshop, including:
Tai Chi Demonstration and Practice
Learn fundamental movements from an experienced Tai Chi master, exploring how this ancient martial art promotes balance, mindfulness, and vitality.
Chinese Tea Ceremony Experience
A certified tea master will guide you through traditional brewing techniques while sharing the philosophy behind China's 4,000-year-old tea culture. Participants will sample premium Chinese teas.
This event will be divided into 40-minute time slots, 20 minutes for each activity. Each registrant will be assigned a time slot during the designated period of 1:30 to 3:30 pm. You will be notified by email or phone of your time slot no later than two days before the event.
