Sarah Nott will teach everyone some basic decorative embroidery stitches, techniques, and terminology.
Required registration begins February 18, 2025 9:00 AM
In order to make sure that as many people as possible enjoy the programs in our Makerspace, we are setting a limit of one program per month. This is for Makerspace programs with registration only.
If you have seen works of embroidery online, but never know where to start, come learn the basics of decorative embroidery! Students will learn the terminology, techniques, and materials necessary to create decorative embroideries in this introductory class. Zero experience required, all materials provided. This is an introduction to techniques, meaning that participants will not walk away with a finished product, but will learn the skills needed to begin practicing the hobby at home.
All participants are welcome. If you anticipate needing any type of accommodation or have questions about the physical access provided, please contact Sara at sweyenberg@portagelibrary.info or (269) 585-8710 in advance of your visit.
