Capt. Baker from the Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Office will cover how to recognize scams and fraud attempts and what you can do to prevent being a victim.

Join us for an informational seminar from the Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Department. Captain Baker will instruct us on how to recognize scams and fraud and how to protect yourself. Real-life case studies and dollar figures from the area will be used as examples. Participants will have resources to take home with them.
Presenter Information: Captain Jeff Baker has thirty-five years of experience providing law enforcement services in Kalamazoo County, including ten years as a detective/sergeant working in partnership with ICAC (Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force) and six years supervising the Criminal Investigation Division.
Location details: This program will take place in our Austin and Sugarloaf Lake rooms, which can be found on the lower level. There are stairs and elevators available for access.
