Come learn about local history at the monthly meeting of the Kalamazoo County Historical Society. Speakers are invited to present on topics relating to Kalamazoo and Southwest Michigan.

Jeremy Winkworth is a former Upjohn scientist and Upjohn historian. Mr. Winkworth maintains the historical Upjohn website www.upjohn.net
Mr. Winkworth “Unusual Pharmaceutical Products Made in Kalamazoo and Portage”. Since The Upjohn Company started here in 1886, there has been no shortage of unusual products made. Mr. Winkworth will discuss products from 1885 to the 1990s.
Meetings of the Kalamazoo County Historical Society are held on the lower level of the library on the first Monday of the month from October through May (with the exception of January). Attendance is free.
