STEM Librarian Jane Fleming will show you how to use the Cricut and Creative Bug to make your own gift bag.
Registration Required
In order to make sure that as many people as possible enjoy the programs in our Makerspace, we are setting a limit of one program per month per registrant for Makerspace programs.
Personalized gifts are always special. Why not add to that personalization with a hand-made gift bag? Learn how to make your own gift bag using the Cricuts at the library. Create some for Mother's Day or Father's Day, or get a jump on the holiday season and make some so they are ready for the Fall. The library will provide paper, but you are welcome to bring in your own as well. We will be using the library's Creative Bug database as part of this program.
Learn more about the Cricuts at the library here: https://www.portagelibrary.info/creation-station/smartcuttingmachines/
This program will be offered three times during the month of April:
Tuesday, April 10 at 10:30 a.m.
Wednesday, April 16 at 2:30 p.m.
Thursday, April 24 at 6:30 p.m.
Attendee slots are limited due to space and equipment limitations. If you register and are unable to attend, please cancel your registration as soon as possible to allow other patrons a chance to sign up. Please do not sign up for duplicate programs. If you do sign up for duplicate programs, you will be contacted and asked to choose one.
If registration fills up and you are not able to attend one of these sessions, the Makerspace has Staffed Hours every day where a trained Makerspace staff person can help you with projects such as this one or other projects you might have. Please visit our website for our Staffed Hours. https://www.portagelibrary.info/creation-station/
All participants are welcome. If you anticipate needing any type of accommodation or have questions about the physical access provided, please contact Jane Fleming at jfleming@portagelibrary.info in advance of your visit.
