STEM Librarian Jane Fleming will show you how to use the Cricut and the Heat Press to design Halloween-themed towels.
Registration Required
In order to make sure that as many people as possible enjoy the programs in our Makerspace, we are setting a limit of one program per month. This is for Makerspace programs with registration only.
In this class you will learn to use the Cricut to choose and cut various Halloween shapes and then design your own personalized Halloween towels. In order to make sure everyone is able to come home with their towels, some designs will be pre-cut and others you will cut at the program so you can personalize your design.
Learn more about the Cricut and our heat presses on our webpage: https://www.portagelibrary.info/creation-station/smartcuttingmachines/
This program will be offered three times in the month of October:
Wednesday, October 9 from 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Tuesday, October 15 from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.
Monday, October 21 from 2:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Attendee slots are limited due to space and equipment limitations. If you register and are unable to attend, please cancel your registration as soon as possible to allow other patrons a chance to sign up. Please do not sign up for duplicate programs. If you do sign up for duplicate programs, you will be contacted and asked to choose one.
Registration is required and begins on October 1, 2024 9:00 AM.
If registration fills up and you are not able to attend one of these sessions, the Makerspace has Staffed Hours every day where a trained Makerspace staff person can help you with projects such as this one or other projects you might have. Please visit our website for our Staffed Hours. https://www.portagelibrary.info/creation-station/
