Mindfulness can assist with increased present-moment focus with the added benefit of strengthening kindness and self-compassion. Please join us for a taste of mindfulness meditation practice. If you have a practice, join to share your experience, or if new to meditation, join to explore. Yoga mats will be provided on a first-come, first-serve basis; please bring one if you can!
Presenter's Bio:
Nicole Najar, is a Board Certified Clinical Health Psychologist currently working within the Veteran’s Administration with the intersection of physical and mental health. Nicole personally practices mindfulness meditation as learned through Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). She enjoys teaching and meditating alongside others.
