To celebrate the 2024 Total Solar Eclipse, Portage District Library is distributing eclipse glasses. Stop by the Adult Information Desk to pick up your free glasses while supplies last.
Due to anticipated high demand, we are limiting each person to two glasses. You do not need a library card, but you must be present to receive your glasses.

Located near the intersection of S. Westnedge and Shaver Rd, Portage District Library offers ample parking, access to the Portage Bikeway, and is adjacent to Veterans Memorial Park.
The library offers a wide range of services and resources for community members, including dedicated areas for children, teens, and adults, as well as meeting rooms available for public use.
EV charging is also available at the library, with additional stations located nearby at Portage City Hall and Portage Zhang Senior Center.
